SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE MEXICO Beautiful home 10 minute bus ride to town center and walking distance to shopping center. Master bedroom on first floor has fireplace, looks out onto inner courtyard and has large bath with jacuzzi. Guest bedroom on second floor has private bath and terrace. There is also an art studio on second floor with own bath and terrace. Third floor terrace has 360 view of town and mountains. Living room looks out onto patio and garden and has fireplace. Large kitchen also looks out onto patio and meditation garden. Fountains in inner courtyard and garden. There is maid service twice a week. My house is located in a quiet upper middle class neighborhood populated by both Mexicans, Americans and Europeans. Colonial San Miguel de Allende is located at 6,000 ft. up in the mountains 3 and 1/2 hours north of Mexico City and has long been is renowned as an art center. The climate is fairly moderate throughout the hear.There is a large expat community. There are a wide variety of art and Spanish classes available at reasonable rates. The light is gorgeous. There are also fine restaurants and shopping. Day trips can be made to Guanajuato, Queretaro and Dolores Hidalgo, all very interesting cities. I am a retired male nurse from San Francisco and I've had a love relationship with Mexico for 40 yrs. I love to travel and have had a lot of experience at housesitting for friends. I am very respectful of other people's homes and belongings and expect that from the people I exchange with.
What I'm Looking For :
I'm looking for one or two responsible, non - smoking adults with no pets or children with you to enjoy and care for my home as if it were their own in exchange for my doing the same for them. I prefer at least a two week term but longer term possible. I am open to areas I would like to visit, so please make me an offer.
