Legal services (small business and transactional) and/or revenue share (not ownership) in online ventures in exchange for web design/development services.
I am an attorney specializing in transactional matters, among other things, and have spent 9 years practicing law with a large law firm and as in-house counsel with a global technology company. During my years of practice I also have spent time assisting small businesses with legal matters (e.g., business formations, operational and ownership documents, NDAs, transactional matters, etc.).
Outside the practice of law, I have several projects I wish to get underway that require web design and development skills (some that deal with social networking platforms). I would like to swap my skills as a seasoned attorney with those of a web designer/developer (whether an individual or small company). My experience forming businesses, negotiating and drafting transactional documents, and drafting NDAs, as well as other such legal documents, can save an individual designer/developer or small business web developer thousands of dollars in legal expenses. I can function as somewhat of an outsourced General Counsel. In return, I would like to receive web design and development services to develop some of my ideas into functional websites and web applications.
As an alternative to bartering legal services, I am willing to enter into a revenue share arrangement (no ownership) with regard to the ventures, such that over time the web designer/developer will receive sufficient share of monetary returns to compensate for services rendered along with a premium as bonus compensation for doing this desired work on spec.
