We live in a two storey house (200 square meters) about 20 years old. It is located in a plot of about 800 square metes. In the ground floor there is a large dining and living room, kitchen, bathroom and a study room. In the first floor there are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large studio. One of the bedrooms has a double bed, other two have single beds. The fourth bedroom has two folded single beds that can be used if necessary.
We have all the usual domestic appliances: microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, television, video recorder, satellite receiver, hi-fi stereo, etc. There is air conditioning in the dining room and in the studio.
Outside the house there is a garden and two terraces facing to East and West, so you always find a pleasant place to stay either if you want sun or not, in the morning or in the afternoon. There is also a private swimming pool (4 x 8 meters).
We have several bicycles of different sizes at your disposal, so they can fit nearly any need.
You can find several pictures of the house (and a few maps of the area) in the following link:

THE SURROUNDINGS:
The house is in a residential town called La Cañada with about 10.000 inhabitants (it doubles in summer); it belongs to the town of Paterna. It is located about 10 Km NorthWest from the center of Valencia. You can find shops and basic services at walking distance from the house (500-1000 m). The neighbourhood is quiet and surrounded by forest.
From our house you can go to the center of Valencia by car in 20-30 minutes (depends on the traffic). There is also a train, the station is 1,200 m from the house. There is a train every 40 minutes and it takes 20 min. to get to the center of Valencia. The train itself is part of the metro network since it travels underground when it gets to Valencia, so you can reach many parts of Valencia and surroundings very easily. We are also offering a car exchange to facilitate displacements during your/our holidays.
In Valencia you find all the normal attractions of any big city. In particular there is a large historical center, fine arts museums (classical and modern), ceramics museum, science museum (especially interesting for children), big aquarium, etc.
There are plenty of beaches in the area that you can reach by car in 30 minutes or so. If you like diversity and don't mind to drive longer you can visit some of the most famous beaches in Spain: Denia and Javea are at 90 min by car, Benidorm can be reached in two hours.
