Looking to spend a year living, working or just playing in Italy? Consider an exchange for our fully restored medieval villa in a restricted and protected regional park less than an hour by train from Venice. The 6770 sq ft Villa Renée was built in the 1500s and 1700s, is located on a hillside surrounded by its own small vineyard and olive orchard not far from the historic town of Este in the province of Padova. We are seeking to spend a year back in our hometown of Manhattan beginning more or less in September 2009. There can be some flexibility with the dates. While we still maintain our 1 bedroom apartment on WEA at 77th we are looking for something larger, minimum two bedrooms, two baths for our longer stay in NYC this time. We also own a 60m2 apartment on a small canal just 100 meters from the Grand Canal in Venice that could be part of the exchange if used occasionally.
