For family reasons I am trading out my subs and amp for a car DVD player w/ monitor. I have an MTX Thunder 8000 12, 1000 watt with cast iron frame paired with an MTX Blue Thunder 12, 1000 watt with cast iron frame. Virtually the same speaker except they came out a year apart and have different cones. They are painfully loud if you are not familiar with thunder 8000s. I got them from a friend who powered them with a better Fosgate amp and it was insane. I also have an Audiobahn 800A7 4 channel amp bridgeable to 2-400watt channels, in chrome finish, Pretty nice but better for a 4 sub system or pair of 1 ohm subs. Still very loud and clear with these subs. It has a built in crossover. I also have a couple of Audiobahn tweaters. The combined value new is $890.
What I'm Looking For :
I am looking for a dvd player with monitor for our new van. I want at least a 9" screen. I don't need a very fancy one. I will take a moderate system and some cash or break up what I have if you don't want everything. I will also consider a cheap laptop w/ dvd player.
