Renovated village property 15 minutes drive outside Stara Zagora city in central Bulgaria. Renovated and furnished in 2006/2007 to high standard. Split into 2 apartments - each with one large bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living area. There is a TV with DVD player in each but no satellite TV, only DVDs. Each apartment also has a sofa bed so can comfortably sleep 3 in each apartment. Upper apartment has large balcony and open fire. Downstairs leads out onto large terrace. There is a BBQ provided and main fruit trees and grape vines. The garden needs work to grass it and get under control. There are a couple of barns and lovely views across countryside.
Plot is securely fenced and pets welcome. No smoking though inside, but smokers welcome so long as they stand on terrace/balcony!
Can sleep 2 to 3 in each apartment, take one or both apartments.
Villa is on end of village and lovely and quiet and peaceful. There are 2 or 3 village shops and a small cafe.
Stara Zagora offers good shopping, museums, art galleries, ancient Neolithic houses, Roman ruins, the Opera and much more. Many excellent restaurants.
Just outside the city you can visit the Mineral Spa baths for massages and a swim and for lovely walks. There is much to do in the area. The ancient city of Plovdiv is onlty an hours drive away as are the Rodophe mountains, the Balkans offering waling, climbing and cycling are not too far away, the coast is 2 hours away. There is wine tasting in the region, rock formations, the valley of the Roses and Thracian tombs and the valley of the peaches.
Car hire recommended.

Also if you can do some gardening work and dig over and level garden and sow grass seed etc you are welcome to come and stay for free.
