I have a 4 bedroom 2 bath house in ANchorage Alaska to swap. My house for a vacation for yours! Our house is modern, clean, tastefully decorated. Our house will sleep 7 - more if you want to pitch an airmattress. Our house is located in a nice neighborhood in Anchorage, Alaska's biggest town. We have a beautiful big backyard and a nice deck for bbq's. We are within driving distance of the best hiking, fishing, and sightseeing in the United States. You can even fish for salmon in downtown Anchorage if you want to! The KIng Salmon Derby is held in anchorage every year from SHip Creek, in the heart of downtown Anchorage. Anchorage and vicinity has mild summer's about 68-75 degrees- perfect weather - we have lots of bike trails and every weekend there are festivals and lots to do. Our house is the perfect jumping off point for alaskan adventures whether its fishing in anchorage, homer or seward or driving up to see Denali, the biggest mountain in North America, a quick and scenic 4 hour drive from Anchorage. SO, if you have ever dreamed of seeing The Last Frontier, ALASKA, our house might be the home away from home you are looking for!
What I'm Looking For :
My most immediate plans call for spending the summer in a swapped home in Southern Oregon. My folks live in the Grants Pass area so I'd like to be within driving distance of them. I'd like a clean, nice, kid friendly home to spend atleast a month hanging out and visiting my family, but then having a place to retreat to, as well. We would love it if the place had a pool. That is my big wish for this swap. a house with a pool. OR even if it was a condo/apt. with a shared pool - that would be okay too! Hopefully atleast 3-4 bedrooms if possible. I am most concerned with locaton - even a place in ROseburg or a smaller city in southern oregon would be okay. Within one hour of Grants Pass is ideal. I have time frame of Late May 2008 to Mid August to do a swap and I'd like it to be no less than a month - but if you have a place available and you only want to be gone 2-3 weeks please get in touch with me anyway as it might work out for both of us! We are a nice respectful Alaskan family - I am wanting to visit Grandma and Grandpa without staying with them and intruding upon them for a whole month so I hope if you want to see alaska you will get in touch with us and let's see if we can work out a mutually beneficial arrangement this summer 2008! write me for details and pictures if you are interested. ALso, if you have a house on the ORegon Coast and want to swap that, please get in touch. That might work too! Wheelchair accessible not necessary but would be great.
