Don't be Shy
At times it may be a little intimidating to become a new member in a large group of people. Maybe like the first day of school!
But just like any other new situation, you eventually start to become more comfortable within the group.
Some people barter because they're on a budget, some are business owners who want to gain more customers and others barter for the sheer enjoyment. What all these people have in common is that they became part of the group because they have something to offer and are willing to trade it for what they need.
In some instances you may come across a trade offer that interests you but that person may not be looking for what you're offering. Now is the time to get those imagination juices flowing.
They may be open to many possibilities but if you don't ask, you'll never know. Besides, what's the worst they can say? Don't get discouraged if they decline. After all successful people don't wait around for things to happen, they make it happen.
